The former Southampton man said: “Our defense at Southampton were superb against him but at St Mary’s last season there was a ricochet to him when we were on top and he put it away.”
“That changed the game. Is he containable? Yes but we know his strengths and you have to respect him massively.”
“We’ll be looking to nullify him but while the Southampton defense deserve credit for the way they played against him, he still caused us problems.”
