Spanish giants Barcelona have confirmed that they have officially parted way with director of football Andoni Zubizarreta after they lost an appeal against a transfer ban and cannot sign any new players until next year's January transfer window.
"President Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided to terminate the contract of Andoni Zubizarreta,” read Barca’s official statement, as quoted by reliable source Agen Bola indo11.com.
"The President, in the name of the club, thanks Andoni Zubizarreta for his contribution, dedication and professionalism over the last four years in his role at the head of the club’s football area."
