Bruce said: "The most important thing for me is to go and get a result at Tottenham and keep it alive. If we can do that we give ourselves a chance and let's hope there's another twist, usually there is.”
He added: "In the club's history we don't do things easily. To get in the Premier League we had an unbelievable day. Let's hope next weekend, we can do the same - keep it alive, produce a performance and see where it takes us.”
