Manchester United star striker Robin van Persie insists Red Devils’ new big-name arrival Radamel Falcao must fight for a place in the club’s starting line-up this season.
Falcao made a switch from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco to United on a season-long loan on the transfer deadline day.
“I welcome his arrival, he makes us better,” van Persie said, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“At a top club you should always go for the best, which also fits my philosophy. Falcao must fight for his place, as I also have to.”
